Alison has had a 'portfolio' career, originally as a professional cellist, then later as a very successful Counsellor & Life-Coach, published self-help Author and freelance Writer. She lives in Southampton, UK.
She has always enjoyed needlework and embroidery, making her own bridesmaid's dress at the age of 18. Her recent collection of greetings cards was inspired by a visit to Buckingham Palace in 2007 where she examined The Queen's exquisite 1947 wedding dress. This led to experiments with card-making using pearl beads, sequins and gold thread, represented in the cards you see for sale on her site today.
